Women will handle the steering of ST
For the first time in the state, women will drive ST buses. 17 women are being trained to drive ST buses by the Maharashtra State Transport Corporation at a training center in Pune. ST Corporation will work to show that women are not less than men in any field. The women were selected in 2019, after which their training was halted due to Covid. It has now started again.
