Engine failure of Kashi Express
The incident of engine failure of Kashi Express at Asangaon station in Thane took place between 9 am. Due to this, the Central Railway collapsed on that route for half an hour. Now that express has been stopped in loop at Atgaon station and although the local service has been restored, hundreds of passengers reached Asangaon station by walking from the railway tracks. Due to this incident, the commuters were distressed and many were late for work.
