Turkey, Syria devastated by earthquake disaster (National mourning to be observed in Bangladesh tomorrow)
The death toll from the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria continues to rise. Several countries, including India, have come down to the rescue operation. It stands beside the earthquake-ravaged countries. Meanwhile, India’s neighboring country Bangladesh has announced to observe the State Mourning Day tomorrow. On Wednesday, Bangladesh said it would observe a state mourning tomorrow due to the terrible disaster in Turkey. All government and private institutions in Bangladesh will remain closed, and all educational institutions will be closed. The national flag will fly at half-mast at embassies and deputy embassies abroad. Bangladesh’s diplomatic relations with Turkey are very strong. Turkey has always stood by Bangladesh on the Rohingya issue. In addition, Turkey extends a helping hand to any kind of creative event in Bangladesh. Besides, prayers will be offered for the peace of the souls of the people killed in Turkey
