16 women’s training begins: For the first time in 72-year history, women drivers in ST
Pune: Tan Pari, who walked with the motto ‘Bahujan Hitay Bahujan Sukhay’, has got highly educated in the form of women drivers. It is for the first time in the 72 year history of ST that women drivers have taken up the steering of ST. In the next two months the women are ready to take care of the actual STs. One of the women is from Pune and has quit her job as a bank manager for a driver’s job in ST.
The 26-year-old has been identified as Sheetal Shinde and she has also recently completed the 3,000 km wing phase
