Siliguri, February 16: Fugitive killer truck driver arrested in connection with the death of a bike rider after being hit by a truck. The police arrested the truck driver Ashok Mahato from Rajaholi in NJP on Wednesday night.
Incidentally, a bike rider died after being hit by a truck in Michael Madhusudan Colony area near Ambikanagar Bazar in Siliguri last Saturday. After the incident, a lot of tension spread in the area. The excited crowd vandalized the truck and set it on fire. On hearing the news, a large police force of NJP police station rushed to the spot.
