Due to urbanization, industrialization, use of chemicals, chemical fertilizers, pesticides, the quality of the land is decreasing and the land is becoming barren. Tree plantation is the only way to prevent water and air pollution due to population growth. The Government of India passed the Forest Act in 1952 to stop the destruction of forests. Accordingly, 33 percent of the land area of the country must be covered with forests. But today, due to deforestation, this amount is only 7 to 8 percent. Thousands of seedlings are being prepared in Amravati’s Bamboo Garden. Photo taken on Monday on the occasion of World Forest Day.
