76 lakh women traveled in a week
The Shinde government announced to give 50 percent discount to women in the fare of ST tickets. After that, big statistics are coming out. More than 76 lakh women passengers from across the state have traveled on ST during the week. This data is from March 17 to March 23. From this ST Corporation has got a revenue of 19 crore 97 lakh rupees. Now the state government has to pay the same amount to the ST Corporation.
