Prices of essential medicines will increase. These rates will increase as the central government will allow drug companies to increase prices. Due to this, the common man who is already suffering from inflation will have to suffer even more. This rate hike will be done from April 1, 2023. This will increase the price of all medicines including painkillers, antibiotics and heart disease. Generally, this increase is likely to be up to 12 percent.
