Injuries to IPL
As soon as the IPL starts, injuries have taken over. Gujarat’s star player Kane Williamson has returned to New Zealand due to an injury from the IPL. RCB batsman Rajat Patidar has also withdrawn from this tournament due to injury. It has been clarified that KKR batsman Shakib Al Hasan will not be available to play. Earlier, star players like Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah have been out of the IPL.
