Case against five people in case of child marriage
Nalasopara: A case was registered on Sunday against the girl’s parents, husband and mother-in-law for marrying a minor girl in Nalasopara. A 16-year-old girl living in Nalasopara was married in Latur district even though she was known to be a minor. After that, the victim gave birth to a daughter. As soon as Tulinj police received the information about child marriage of the girl, on Saturday under the section of Prevention of Child Marriage Ac 2006
