India end the day on 278 runs


On the strength of Cheteshwar Pujara and Shreyas Iyer’s batting, India ended the day at 278 for 6 against Bangladesh on the first day of the Chittagong Test. Pujara was dismissed on 90 runs while Iyer was playing on 82 runs. Indian captain K. L. Rahul decided to bat for the first time today. But India’s 3 batsmen returned to the tent in just 48 runs. Tajmul Islam took 3 wickets from Bangladesh today.
