“Born in Aurangabad and will die here”
The MIM has taken an aggressive stance after the Center approved the state’s proposal to rename Osmanabad as Dharashiv and Aurangabad as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar MP Imtiaz Jalil has said that “I was born in Aurangabad and will die in Aurangabad”. There are various reactions to the renaming of cities. On this background, the demand to rename Ahmednagar as Ahilyanagar has started gaining strength.
